The Char Dham Yatra is one of the most sacred pilgrimages in India, deeply rooted in Hindu tradition and spirituality. Located in the majestic Himalayas of Uttarakhand, the Char Dham refers to four holy shrines—Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath—each dedicated to different deities and associated with powerful myths and legends.

Embarking on the Char Dham Yatra is believed to wash away sins, open the path to salvation (Moksha), and bring peace to mind and soul. The journey not only holds immense religious importance but also offers breathtaking views of snow-clad mountains, serene valleys, and the divine aura of the Himalayas.

Yamunotri Dham – Dedicated to Goddess Yamuna, the origin of River Yamuna.

Gangotri Dham – Dedicated to Goddess Ganga, the origin of River Ganga.

Kedarnath Dham – One of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, surrounded by stunning peaks.

Badrinath Dham – Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, known as the protector and preserver of the universe.

The yatra generally begins from Haridwar or Rishikesh and follows a circuit covering all four temples. Pilgrims from across the world undertake this divine journey every year between April/May to October/November, when the temples are open for darshan.

The Char Dham Yatra is not just a pilgrimage—it’s a soulful journey that blends faith, devotion, and adventure, leaving every devotee with an unforgettable spiritual experience.
